Prom~ First Week of School~

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

So Prom was well, awesome? ( Am i being sarcastic, well i’ll let you figure that out on your own. ;) )  Let’s talk about the first week of school, the first week of school was awesome, but then again not that awesome as i am still waiting for my laptop, tomorrow is my O Level results for E Math and IED AND I DO NOT WANNA TAKE EM BACKKKK. OMFG, TOMORROW. Crap, i just got hyper. Anyway, let’s try to calm myself down. I have 3 new teachers? Well, two of em new but one of them has taught me before, Doctor Pamela as my English Teacher ( PhD Holder, i think we should stop bullying the English teacher) and Mrs Tan Ming Hui as my new chemistry teacher, very interesting teacher and very very sarcastic in her words but other then that, great teacher. ( so far :) ) Though, i think the discipline community in my school is mentioning that they are gonna track down people who make rant’s about other students, flaming other students on Facebook, blogs and etc and they are gonna punish them in school. I thought that was an interesting topic to talk about since this is my post in quite some time. How the hell are you gonna catch people that do flaming on Facebook? Com’on , be realistic. You have to employ a Student to do it, you teachers have 0 possibility of doing it. Because why? First of all, you guys have to add friends and keep track of live feeds and i know that maybe one of the IT People in the school could code out a program that tracks the “News Live Feed” on Facebook and filter out the vulgar words such as fuck to scan through and see whether any flaming is going out but still, Facebook just upgraded their privacy settings and i can simply block anyone from viewing anything that i don’t want them to view on my profile? Just Google about Facebook’s new Privacy settings and you can be assured that i can just block ANYONE, from viewing my photo, my address, my blog, my hobbies and etc. A teacher has already scored like 3 of the options(meaning getting blocked on certain stuff) on my profile, he/she cant view certain things because he/she is such a prick in school. :) I dare you to catch me, haha. I wouldn’t mind getting employed to keep track of who flame’s who on Facebook but since the discipline community is gonna keep track of it, well i dare you man. You guys cant do shit. If i flame you here, what are you gonna do? You gonna send a take down notice to blue host? You gonna ask MOE to do it? Be realistic. Anything that goes on the internet you cant do anything about it. Even if you wanna track me, i can easily use a SSH Tunnel and you cant tell where i am really coming from or even Tor has provided me with Anonymity on the Internet. As i stated before in one of my old posts ( i think it has been wiped), if you cant stand being flamed then get off the internet, the internet isn’t for people who can’t stand being flamed. I can flame who i want and this is my blog. I post what i want and you can’t do shit about it. Of course, i don’t mean to be rude that i post ANYTHING that disturb’s other people, i have my principles but other then that. If i flame someone, i obviously have a very legit reason to do so. So, don’t talk crap and mess with me that you are gonna track down and give us caning, I should make a disclaimer to avoid that. Anyway, School has been awesome, usual crap talk by the highest ranking in school. Blah blah blah, welcome back to school. Oh, the afraid of the DM(Discipline Master) part was most hilarious, i ain’t scared of him and never will be. I really have to start on my Chemistry homework and i need to start studying. This is my last year and i am really interested in getting into Direct Poly Admission programme for the Diploma in Information Technology course in Singapore Polytechnic. Gonna be taking the Games Development elective Module in Year 2 and the Ethical Hacking elective Module in Year 3. Oh, and at the moment i am choosing to go for the IS Module for year 2. Maybe i should start learning some stuff and see if i can make a portfolio before June. So i can show them that at least i have a firm ground and that will probably make my chances better for DPA. At the moment i am waiting for my new laptop to arrive, if you are at least an average user of computers and understand what hardware specifications are then i’ll just state the specs

Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
CPU Type Intel Core i7 720QM(1.6GHz)
Screen 15.6″
Memory Size 4GB DDR3
Hard Disk 500GB
Optical Drive DVD±R/RW
Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M

That’s about all you have to know to understand. ^_^ I think i should stop posting and maybe go and see if i can start on Ethical Hacking or maybe some Java programming. See you along everyone.

Research on ONE of the following well-kno..

Sunday, January 3rd, 2010
William ( Bill ) Gates has contributed to globalisation by being an entrepreneur in personal computer software. He first started being interested in programming at the age of 13. In 1973, he entered Harvard University as a freshman, he did not have a study plan and spent most of his time in the Computer Labs of Harvard and missed lessons subsequently. The following year the Altair 8800 was released which was based on the Intel 8080 CPU which Gates had programmed on it before, his childhood friend Paul Allen and him saw this as an opportunity to start their own software company, Gate’s parents were very supportive of him seeing how he wanted to start a company. Bill Gates has helped to Globalize the World’s Computer Software which is now well known as Windows. His latest installement at the moment is Windows 7. He has also helped out to globalize the world’s undeveloped areas with programs such as  the OLPC  ( One Laptop Per Child) Program which entitles to give one laptop per child for their needs. The P.C. is also fueling the Globalisation trend and the most known software for a P.C. would definitely be Windows, P.C.’s are now used everywhere in the world to speed up process of typing documents, archiving notes and editing photos. Alot of Posters, Advertistments or even books we see now are processed through the PC. This has helped to globalize the world’s PC Industry and Bill Gates has contributed by providing a software that allows this to happen. ( Even this piece of Essay is typed and printed through a PC using Windows Software)
